Application Development:
- Design, build, and implement Pega PRPC applications (PRPC v7.x and v8.x), adhering to best practices in Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC).
Requirement Analysis & SDLC:
- Participate in requirement analysis, design, coding, unit testing, defect fixing, and production support throughout the project lifecycle.
Pega Frameworks & Implementation:
- Work on end-to-end implementation of BPM applications using Pega frameworks, including upgrade and customization tasks.
Rule Design & Configuration:
- Develop and configure key PRPC components such as Flows, Rulesets, Assignments, Utilities, Data Transforms, Activities, Data Types, Decisioning, Declarative rules, Correspondence, SLAs, and more.
Integration & APIs:
- Hands-on experience integrating SOAP/REST APIs and troubleshooting services and connectors (SOAP, MQ, REST, OAuth, SSO).
Process Automation:
- Configure and manage agents, jobs, queue processing, listeners, and emails to support backend and asynchronous processes.
UI Development:
- Implement and customize UI elements including Sections, Layouts, Portals, Skin Rules, Fragments, and Access Controls.
Database & Reporting:
- Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries. Understand rule resolution, class design, locking, and reporting mechanisms.
Tools & Troubleshooting:
- Proficient in using PRPC tools such as Clipboard, Tracer, DB Trace, PAL, and Guardrails for debugging and performance analysis.
Deployment & Configuration:
- Experience with product configuration and managing the Pega deployment process.
- Methodology:
- Work in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in sprint ceremonies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in building and implementing Pega PRPC applications.
- Certifications:
- Pega CSA/CSSA certification is mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Pega frameworks, PRPC concepts, REST/SOAP API integration, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and DBMS.
- Experience with application servers, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and experience working under tight deadlines.
