Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist located in Bengaluru South. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will assess and evaluate children's developmental needs and design tailored therapy programs to enhance their motor, sensory, and daily living skills. The role involves working collaboratively with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure personalized and effective interventions. The therapist will document therapy progress, provide recommendations, and contribute to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for neurodiverse children.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, evaluations, and designing individualized therapy plans for children.
  • Strong knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor skills development, and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other professionals.
  • Ability to adapt therapies to suit individual needs and promote a supportive and inclusive therapy environment.
  • Eligibility for professional certification or licensure in Occupational Therapy; a degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's or Master's) is required.
  • Prior experience working with neurodiverse children or in pediatric occupational therapy is highly desirable.
  • An empathetic, patient, and motivated approach to working with children and their families.
