- They plan lessons that are age-appropriate, engaging, and cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students
- Instructing and demonstrating physical activities: PE teachers demonstrate and explain different exercises, sports techniques, and fitness routines to students
- They provide clear instructions on proper form, safety precautions, and rules of the activities, ensuring students understand and follow them correctly
- Assessing and evaluating student progress: PE teachers assess and evaluate students performance and progress in physical activities
- They conduct regular assessments, such as skill tests, fitness assessments, and game play evaluations, to monitor individual and group achievements
- They provide constructive feedback to students, encouraging them to improve their skills and overall fitness
- Promoting sportsmanship and teamwork: PE teachers foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes sportsmanship, fair play, and teamwork
- They encourage students to develop important social skills, such as communication, cooperation, and respect for others, through participation in group activities and team sports
- Ensuring student safety: PE teachers prioritize student safety during physical activities
