Job Title: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager
Job Role: Design & Implementation of Innovative Solutions and Emerging Technologies to Plant Equipment
Role Statement: Industrial Automation Innovation Team: This role comes with the creative liberty and support of the team to try big bold ideas to achieve the production goals of the organization. Application of new and emerging technologies, in factory equipment to achieve complete digtilization of the manufacturing and assembly lines.
Reporting To: DPM
Level in the organization: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager
Educational Qualification: Graduation (With Specialization): BE / B. Tech (Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics /) or equivalent from premier institute.
Post Graduation (With Specialization)/Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.): Certification / Experience / PGDin Data Science/ Statistics / Instrumentation
Work Experience (Years) in treasury activities. Minimum: 02 Maximum: 06
Job Responsibilities
1. Analyse business requirement, design, prototype and build control system/ software/ AI or IoT solutions to automatic equipment in industrial plants.
2. Conceptulization, Costing, Calculations, Electrical Designing, Parts selection & engineering BOM Preparation
3. Experience with Electrical/Electronics Designing tools such as E-Plan / Autodesk Eagle
4. Manage projects throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, customer experience and timeline.
5. Coordinate with various stakeholders - internal (mechanical design, electrical design, software, commercial, etc.) and external ( different manufacturing and assembly plants of MSIL to ensure timely execution, customer satisfaction with each solution that is taken up.
6. Identifying areas of continuous improvement and driving tactial and strategic improvements (new tech integration, data generation, energy monitoring, etc.)to the different automatic equipment (i.e. Material handling equipment, measurement test equipment, etc.)
Competencies / Skills Technical/ Functional:
1. Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, continuous integration, etc.)
2. Must have exposure in managing web based as well as cloud native projects preferably in industrial domain.
3. Understanding of various Industrial automation or Network Management Technologies and usage, Experience in new technologies like Edge Computing, AI/ML, IoT, and so on. Familiarity withPower BI/ Statistical Analysis tools/ Python / R / .NET/ C# / AWS Cloud enviroment is preferred.
4. Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the overall development process at supplier end.
5. Strategic Thinking & Strong execution orientation and problem solving approach. Quick to learn and adopt new technologies and software.
