Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer with around 3 years of experience in high-quality PCB layout and design. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end PCB development and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. Experience in designing military-grade or high-reliability products will be a significant advantage.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and develop multilayer PCBs for digital, analog, mixed-signal, and RF applications using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Graphics).
  • Create and validate schematics, footprints, and component libraries.
  • Ensure proper signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance in all designs.
  • Follow best practices in DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFT (Design for Test), thermal management, and mechanical constraints.
  • Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, test, and procurement teams to meet project timelines and quality targets.
  • Generate complete documentation including Gerber files, drill files, BOMs, assembly drawings, and fabrication notes.
  • Participate in design reviews, verification checks, and continuous improvement of PCB processes.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards (IPC, MIL-STD, etc.).

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in professional PCB layout and design.
  • Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Cadence Allegro.
  • Strong understanding of PCB stack-ups, impedance control, component placement, routing strategies, and DRC/LVS rules.
