Job Summary:
The Payroll Executive will be a vital part of our finance team, responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant payroll operations. With a focus on statutory compliance, this role directly impacts our workforce's satisfaction and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely processing of monthly payroll, including deductions, benefits, and tax calculations.
- Administer statutory compliance related to Gratuity, PF, ESIC, and Professional Taxes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and address discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare necessary reports for management review.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll and provide timely resolutions.
- Continuously review payroll processes to recommend improvements and ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Gratuity, PF, ESIC, and Professional Taxes compliance.
- Proficiency in SAP and familiarity with payroll management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with employees and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Payroll Management or related courses.
- Experience with automation tools for payroll processing.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory changes impacting payroll.
- Organizations in similar industries or sectors.
