Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Maintain and verify employee payroll records, including new hires, salary changes, allowances, deductions, bonuses, overtime and leave-related adjustments.
  • Process employee movements such as new hires, transfers, promotions, salary revisions and terminations.
  • Perform payroll reconciliation and investigate discrepancies before payroll submission.
  • Prepare payroll reports and payroll-related information for Finance and management.
  • Liaise with external payroll providers or vendors where applicable.
  • Manage monthly CPF submissions and ensure accurate employer and employee contributions.
  • Process and administer other government-mandated deductions and statutory requirements applicable to employees.
  • Prepare and submit relevant statutory payroll information, including IR8A, IR21 and other required employment income reporting.
  • Manage the Travel & Expense (T&E) claim process, including employee submission, verification, approval and reimbursement.
  • Review claims against company policies and supporting documentation.
  • Verify travel expenses, allowances, reimbursements and other employee-related claims for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Finance on approved reimbursements and payroll-related payments where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee expenses and support periodic reconciliation and reporting.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Payroll, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably with hands-on Singapore payroll processing experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore CPF, IRAS payroll requirements and statutory deductions.
  • Experience handling employee travel and expense claims.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling payroll and statutory information.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with the ability to perform payroll reconciliation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR/payroll systems.
