Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Analyst, to join our Corporate Finance team.
This position requires knowledge of the Payroll Operation & support the Shared Service center. The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role involves auditing payroll data, maintaining compliance with local, state regulations. The Payroll Analyst will also assist in process improvements and system enhancements to optimize payroll operations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Process and review payroll for employees across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Audit payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies before final submission.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax with professionalism and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports (tax filings, compliance reports, etc.).
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on benefits, deductions, and compensation changes.
- Assist in year-end activities such as Quarterly/Annual return preparation and tax reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in payroll system upgrades or implementations.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Payroll management, Compliance & hands on experience in HRMS project
- Experience with automated payroll systems and integrations.
- Familiarity with labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Educational Qualification
MBA /Post Graduate degree in Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. ADP, SAP, Workday) and MS Excel.
