Your Job

You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of payroll inputs for US-based employees by managing payroll transactions (special pay, adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle runs), resolving payroll discrepancies, and partnering with HR, Finance, and IT to sustain high-quality payroll operations.

Our Team

You will join the US Payroll Transactions team within Payroll Operations, working closely with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver seamless payroll services. The team focuses on operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in payroll processes.

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end payroll transaction processing to ensure accurate and timely pay for US employees, including special pay, adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payroll.
  • Resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies by investigating payroll data, partnering with stakeholders, and communicating clear outcomes to employees and partners.
  • Ensure payroll practices meet federal, state, and local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, and IT to diagnose system issues, implement fixes, and support payroll system enhancements.
  • Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Stay current with US payroll legislation and payroll technology trends, sharing relevant updates and recommendations with the team.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in US payroll processing or payroll operations.
  • Proven experience processing payroll transactions including special pays, garnishments, and off-cycle payroll runs.
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, Ceridian) and familiarity with HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, Infor, SuccessFactors).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with payroll audits, compliance activities, and remediation planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, payroll reporting tools, and familiarity with automation tools or scripting for payroll processes.
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to analyze complex payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to act as a trusted advisor on payroll transaction matters.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and implementing automation to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
