Position Overview

Job Title: Payroll Processor Internal Accounts Governance

Corporate Title: NCT

Location: Bangalore, India

Role Description

Responsible for correct accounting of payroll records, timely review and reconciliation of General Ledgers and Cost Centers.

  • Booking of Payroll Accounting entries

  • Reconciliation of SAP entries with the payroll register

  • SAP GL reconciliation and reporting, coordination with various stakeholders for open entries

  • Critically analyzing the compliance payments

  • Coordination with various auditors during payroll audit (Tax Audit, Compliance audit, Statutory Audit etc.)

  • Internal Account Oversight & Aging Analysis

  • Segregation of Duties (SoD) Management

  • Regional Dashboard & Process Controls

  • Quality Assurance & Audits

  • Global Accounts Reconciliations

Your key responsibilities

  • Validation and reconciliation of all Payroll General Ledgers monthly / quarterly / annually.

  • Ensuring adherence to timely salary cost booking in SAP.

  • Ensuring timely payment and cost booking of various Payroll related statutory dues into various group entities.

  • Reviewing and monitoring unreconciled items in various bank accounts (for salary rejections) on monthly basis and accordingly responding to auditors and other stakeholders.

  • Supporting Payroll and Benefits related areas of various audits (Statutory, Tax, Group and Transfer Pricing).

  • Monitor reconciliation processes for compliance, analyze aging items to identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with timely escalation.

  • Define and enforce role-based access controls and SOD frameworks to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure accountability.

  • Develop dashboards to track reconciliation and aging metrics and establish controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform sample checks and audits to validate completeness and accuracy, document findings, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with Internal Audit Requirements.

  • Supporting Global Accounts Reconciliation as and when required.

Your skills and experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in Payroll/Non-Payroll accounting and regulatory compliances.

  • Good written and oral communication skills
