Key Responsibilities

Payroll Operations

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing across APAC countries (e.g., Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam.etc)
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution, including salary, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and off-cycle payments.
  • Oversee payroll calendar and ensure adherence to country-specific deadlines.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across APAC markets.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement process adjustments accordingly.
  • Manage audits (internal and external) related to payroll and statutory filings.

Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with regional and country payroll vendors (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP payroll modules).
  • Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and drive continuous improvement.

Reporting & Controls

  • Prepare payroll reconciliations and variance analysis reports.
  • Partner with Finance for month-end closing and payroll accounting entries.
  • Implement and maintain strong payroll controls and documentation processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent teams on new hires, exits, and compensation changes.
  • Support regional expansion into new APAC markets from a payroll compliance perspective.
  • Provide payroll insights and metrics to leadership.
