Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across APAC countries (e.g., Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam.etc)
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution, including salary, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and off-cycle payments.
- Oversee payroll calendar and ensure adherence to country-specific deadlines.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across APAC markets.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement process adjustments accordingly.
- Manage audits (internal and external) related to payroll and statutory filings.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with regional and country payroll vendors (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP payroll modules).
- Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and drive continuous improvement.
Reporting & Controls
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and variance analysis reports.
- Partner with Finance for month-end closing and payroll accounting entries.
- Implement and maintain strong payroll controls and documentation processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent teams on new hires, exits, and compensation changes.
- Support regional expansion into new APAC markets from a payroll compliance perspective.
- Provide payroll insights and metrics to leadership.
