Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Associate to manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensure statutory compliance, and support employee payroll queries. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical accuracy, knowledge of payroll systems, and experience handling payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for employees with accuracy and within timelines
  • Maintain and update employee payroll data including salary revisions, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and labour laws
  • Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement and reconciliation
  • Handle full & final settlements, leave encashments, and exit payroll
  • Prepare payroll reports, MIS, and dashboards for management review
  • Address employee queries related to salary, taxation, payslips, and deductions
  • Support payroll audits and maintain proper documentation and records
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams for seamless payroll operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field
  • 23 years of payroll experience in a corporate or consulting environment
  • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations & statutory compliance
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software/HRMS tools (Keka, Zoho, SAP, etc.)
  • Good understanding of income tax calculations and payroll accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel and data handling
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality mindset
