Payroll Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with 6-10 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, compliance, and employee data management. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and addressing employee inquiries. Responsibilities

• Process payroll for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Manage payroll records and maintain employee data in the payroll system.
• Calculate and process bonuses, commissions, and other variable pay.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports in a timely manner.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, deductions, and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
• Assist in the implementation of payroll software and systems upgrades or changes.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance in India.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Tally, ADP, Paychex) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees and management.

Europe Payroll SME : Candidates have experience with at least one or more of the following countries:

Czechia OR Germany OR Sweden OR SPAIN OR Switzerland OR Poland OR Italy

North America SME :

LATAM OR Mexico OR Brazil OR Argentina OR Colombia

Experience in more than three countries is preferred.
