Job Description:
The Payroll Administrator plays a key role in accurately and efficiently processing payroll for our internal employees and external consultants. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and smooth collaboration across teams.
Key Skills:
- Process weekly payroll requests for internal and contract employees.
- Manage payroll data entry, audit inputs, and prepare payrollrelated reports.
- Handle and clarify employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxation, and deductions.
- Troubleshoot paymentrelated concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure accurate processing by gathering, calculating, and validating payroll data.
- Maintain working knowledge of payroll regulations including India payroll rules, PF/ESI, professional tax, TDS, and GST compliance.
- Process and reconcile contractor payroll, ensuring statutory and contractual adherence.
- Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, HR, and Verification teams to ensure precision in payroll operations.
- Assist with preparing or creating payroll files prior to strict deadlines.
- Support GST documentation and compliance activities related to payrolllinked vendor and contractor payments.
- Host crossdepartment shadowing sessions to educate employees on payment workflows.
- Mentor, guide, and train new Payroll Administrators.
- Assist with running select payrolls for selfemployed and contractor pay groups.

- Experience or understanding of:
- India Payroll processes and statutory components (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF).
- Contractor payroll handling.
- GST compliance principles related to payrolllinked vendor/contractor payments.
