About the Role
The role involves designing and architecting end-to-end payment solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading technical teams in the development of modern payment systems.
Responsibilities
- Payment Solution Architecture: Experience designing and architecting end-to-end payment solutions for SEPA, non-SEPA, high-value, and cross-border payments.
- Regulatory and Compliance Standards: Knowledge and implementation of EPC rulebooks, SWIFT, ISO 20022, PSD2, AML, KYC, and related regulatory protocols.
- Java/J2EE and Spring Boot: Deep proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices development for payment systems.
- Microservices Architecture and DevOps: Architecting and deploying microservices-based payment platforms with modern DevOps toolchains.
- Payment Processing Value Chain: Technical leadership in payment initiation, routing, orchestration, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align architecture with business needs.
- Mentoring and Technical Leadership: Proven mentoring and coaching of engineering teams in agile environments, backlog grooming, and technical guidance.
- Industry Best Practices and Modernization: Driving modernization, scalability, and innovation in payment systems following industry best practices.
- Agile Methodologies (SAFe/Scrum): Active participation in agile ceremonies and applying SAFe or Scrum methodologies within payment solution delivery.
Qualifications
Education details: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SEPA and ISO 20022.
- Strong understanding of payment processing and regulatory standards.
