Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Payment Posting specialist located in Coimbatore. The Payment Posting specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payment cards, managing financial transactions, and ensuring proper accounting of payments. The day-to-day tasks will include posting payments, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Any degree, preferably in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Strong analytical, accounting, and communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Works effectively in a team; experience in US healthcare RCM is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Post insurance and patient payments accurately into the billing system (manual and electronic).
  • Reconcile daily deposits, ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice), and EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).
  • Verify payment details and apply appropriate adjustments or write-offs.
  • Handle denials, refunds, and payment discrepancies efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed payment posting logs and reports.
  • Coordinate with the AR (Accounts Receivable) and Billing teams for unresolved or mismatched transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company confidentiality policies.
  • Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Participate in team meetings, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
