Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Payment Poster to join our US Healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all transactions are recorded as per process and compliance guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Post insurance payments, patient payments, and adjustments accurately into the billing system
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
- Ensure accurate application of payments, denials, and contractual adjustments
- Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and reports
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or posting errors
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Follow HIPAA compliance and organizational guidelines
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Payment Posting (US Healthcare)
- Good knowledge of EOBs, ERAs, and payment posting procedures
- Familiarity with US Healthcare billing systems and processes
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Basic computer knowledge and typing skills
- Graduation preferred
