As a Payment Lifecycle Associate I within Payments Operations, you will enhance our payment operations framework by streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, and developing operational functions, while managing payment processing across various products to ensure smooth fund transfers and reconcile purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. Leveraging your proficiency in automation, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud awareness, you will ensure the security and efficiency of our payment lifecycle. Your ability to manage stakeholders, influence decisions, and handle conflicts will drive mutually beneficial outcomes, while your strategic planning skills will guide our direction and resource allocation decisions. Additionally, your proficiency in AI/ML will be utilized to solve complex problems and enhance processes, applying your knowledge in market product and process improvement to optimize our operations.

Job responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end daily cash management activities, including cash flow processing, cash positioning, and exception review
  • Perform and oversee funding and liquidity activities, including liquidity processing, monitoring, and governance/oversight to support timely settlement and funding needs
  • Apply strong understanding of market conventions, settlement mechanics, and cut-off times, ensuring cash movements align to regional deadlines and operational nuances
  • Investigate and resolve breaks between internal records and custodian records, partnering across teams to ensure accurate balances and timely resolution
  • Identify operational risks and control gaps, ensure appropriate controls are in place, and support continuous control enhancement
  • Operate with minimal supervision, proactively communicating status, escalating issues, and keeping management informed of progress and emerging risks

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Relevant Cash Management / Treasury Operations / Funding & Liquidity experience, including daily cash positioning and exception resolution. Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present clearly to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Demonstrated analytical and logical thinking to understand, document, and improve complex operational workflows
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills able to manage multiple competing deadlines
  • Proven ability to partner with diverse stakeholder groups to elicit requirements, understand procedures, and drive process clarity
  • Comfortable working in a high-paced, time-sensitive environment flexible and resilient under tight cutoffs
  • Team-oriented self-starter with a high ownership mindset, positive attitude, and consistent delivery on high-profile initiatives
