Pattern Maker cum Tailor

We're seeking a Pattern Maker cum Tailor who embodies precision, creativity, and an eye for luxury detail. You'll play a key role in transforming digital concepts into finely crafted garments — ensuring impeccable fit, superior finish, and minimal waste.

This hybrid role combines the technical expertise of pattern development with the hands-on craftsmanship of bespoke tailoring for both menswear and womenswear, across luxury suits, dresses, coats, occasionwear, and leisurewear.

Pattern Development & Fabrication

• Develop precise patterns (manual or CAD) from tech packs and garment specifications.
• Determine optimal fabric layouts to maximize efficiency and minimize wastage.
• Modify and perfect patterns through sample development and fit correction cycles.
• Mark, label, and communicate fabric flaws or adjustments to the cutting and QA teams.
• Collaborate with designers, technicians, and merchandisers to resolve fit and construction issues.

Garment Construction & Finishing

• Cut fabrics accurately and construct garments following the developed patterns.
• Execute all stitching, seam finishes, and garment assembly to high-end standards.
• Apply trims, zippers, buttons, and finishing details as per the design brief.
• Conduct pressing, steaming, and final finishing to create a refined silhouette.
• Collaborate with QA to review samples and final garments for quality consistency.
• Prepare garments for premium packaging — including tissue wrapping and Fittora boxing.

• 5+ years of experience in luxury, boutique, or export apparel — pattern making & tailoring.
• Strong understanding of fit, drape, grading, and garment construction principles.
• Proficient in manual and digital pattern-making techniques (CAD preferred).
• Skilled in operating industrial sewing machines and hand-finishing methods.
• Experience working on Western silhouettes (menswear and womenswear).
• Strong attention to detail and precision in both pattern and stitch work.
• Excellent coordination across design, production, and QA teams.
