Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a Patient Counselor, located in Mumbai with the flexibility of partial work-from-home options. The Patient Counselor will assist patients throughout their healthcare journey, provide guidance on medical options, address patient inquiries, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure personalized care. Responsibilities also include managing administrative tasks related to treatment plans and ensuring a positive patient experience by addressing concerns and maintaining clear communication.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Empathy, active listening, and problem-solving abilities to address patient concerns and provide guidance
- Organizational and administrative skills for managing patient records and treatment follow-ups
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, patient counseling techniques, and medical terminology is preferred
- Proficiency in using digital tools and systems for remote work and record-keeping
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, counseling, social work, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a patient counselor or similar role is a plus
