Patient Care Attendant / General Duty Assistant (Home Care)

The Patient Care Attendant will provide non-clinical bedside assistance to patients at home, supporting daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and comfort under the supervision of medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, and hygiene

• Support feeding and hydration

• Assist in dressing and toileting

• Help with repositioning and transfer

• Assist with walking support or wheelchair movement

• Support fall prevention measures

• Measure and record basic vital signs if trained

• Observe patient condition and report concerns to supervising nurse

Comfort & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness of patient area

• Change bed linens as required

• Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times

Qualifications

• Certified Patient Care / Nursing Assistant training preferred

• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital or home-care setting
