Role: Patent Officer Equity-Based | Remote | Founding Team Role
We are looking for a highly research-oriented and strategically minded Patent Officer who can help identify, protect, structure, and strengthen the intellectual property ecosystem of Kefilo.
This role goes far beyond patent filing alone.
You will help shape how Kefilo builds defensible innovation systems and long-term intellectual property infrastructure in the wellness and transformation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, document, and evaluate innovative concepts, systems, processes, wellness models, food innovations, operational frameworks, and technology-driven solutions that may have intellectual property or patent potential.
- Work closely with founders, innovation teams, nutrition experts, product teams, and technology teams to support patent research, novelty analysis, IP strategy, documentation, and long-term innovation protection.
- Conduct research related to patents, prior art, innovation landscapes, wellness technologies, food systems, healthcare innovation, and emerging transformation ecosystems to strengthen Kefilo's competitive positioning.
- Help build long-term intellectual property systems involving patent strategy, innovation documentation workflows, confidentiality frameworks, research coordination, and future commercialization opportunities.
