Key Responsibilities- Mise-en-place: Assist in the daily preparation of ingredients (weighing, sifting, chopping) to ensure the station is ready for service.
- Baking & Execution: Support the senior chefs in baking cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts according to established recipes.
- Consistency: Maintain the highest standards of taste, texture, and visual presentation.
- Station Hygiene: Follow strict HACCP and food safety standards. Keep the pastry station chef-clean at all times.
- Inventory: Help monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients are stored at the correct temperatures to avoid wastage.
- Learning: Be a sponge! Observe techniques from senior chefs and apply them to improve your skills daily.
Who We Are Looking For- Experience: 1 year of experience in a commercial pastry kitchen is ideal.
- Education: Freshers with a Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management (specializing in Bakery/Confectionery) are highly encouraged to apply.
- The Sugar Factor: A genuine passion for pastry. You should care about the difference between a fold and a stir.
- Precision: Pastry is a science. We need someone who respects measurements and timing.
- Stamina: Able to handle the fast-paced environment of a popular Mumbai outlet.
Salary & Perks- Fixed Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 + Service Charge (Based on skill and experience).
