The Opportunity

Role

We're seeking a strategic Director of Partnerships to own and scale our partnership ecosystem. This role manages two critical partnership channels:

  • White-Label VOIP Partnerships - VOIP providers seeking multi-tenant telephony infrastructure
  • CRM Co-Selling Partnerships - Joint go-to-market with CRM platforms

This is a relationship-first role, not transactional sales. We need someone who invests time in understanding partner needs, builds trust, and creates long-term strategic partnerships rather than rushing to close deals.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy & Execution

  • Own the full partnership lifecycle from initial conversations through contract negotiation to ongoing management
  • Manage inbound partnership requests with a consultative, relationship-first approach
  • Proactively identify and reach out to potential partners via LinkedIn, email, and other channels
  • Build target lists of VOIP providers and CRM companies for outbound partnership development
  • Build and execute white-label partnership programs with VOIP providers
  • Develop co-selling programs with CRM companies including joint GTM strategies
  • Create partnership playbooks, success plans, and enablement materials

Relationship Management

  • Travel to meet partners in person to build deep, trusted relationships (domestic and international travel required)
  • Conduct in person meetings with partner executives and technical teams to strengthen partnerships
  • Host regular business reviews (virtual and in-person) and optimize partnership performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams
  • Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and partnership agreements

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor 1-2 partnership team members
  • Build scalable processes and systems for the partnership function
  • Drive accountability through clear metrics and performance tracking

Experience

Required Qualifications

  • 6-10 years in partnerships, channel sales, or strategic alliances in B2B SaaS/technology
  • Proven track record of building and closing partnerships worth $50K-$100K+ ARR
  • Experience with outbound prospecting - identifying, researching, and reaching out to potential partners via LinkedIn, email, and networking
  • Experience with white-label, reseller, or multi-tenant partnership models
  • Experience managing co-selling partnerships with platform/ecosystem partners
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet partners in person
  • Consultative approach - you build relationships and trust, not just close fast

Technical Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of PBX systems, SIP trunking, and cloud telephony infrastructure
  • Ability to have credible technical conversations with VOIP engineers and CTOs
  • Understanding of multi-tenant architecture and telephony platform scalability
  • Comfortable with API integrations and technical documentation

Skills

  • Exceptional relationship builder with long-term partnership mindset
  • Strong outbound prospecting and networking skills (LinkedIn, email campaigns, industry events)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to structure win-win commercial terms
  • Executive presence - comfortable with C-level and VP-level stakeholders
  • Data-driven with ability to build business cases and track partnership metrics
  • Understanding of SaaS business models, pricing, and revenue recognition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, cloud telephony, VOIP, or CCaaS industry
  • Prior experience in North American or international markets
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
  • Knowledge of TCPA compliance or telecom regulations
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification
