Detailed Job Description
Must have skill- SAP LBN and SAP TM experience
- Logistics Visibility & Connectivity Requirements
- Refine end-to-end logistics visibility requirements across order-to-delivery, execution, warehousing, control tower, compliance, and risk, levarging work done internally and by leveraging his/her expertise
- Technology Evaluation & Fit-Gap Analysis
- Carry out market research to identify top logistics visibility and connectivity solutions, providers and implementation partners
- Evaluate external platforms for logistics visibility and connectivity (e.g., control towers, telematics, carrier collaboration, network solutions).
- Perform fit-gap analysis against requirements, assessing functional coverage, scalability, and integration complexity.
- Review solution architecture, data models, and integration approaches across ERP, TMS, WMS, and MES.
- Vendor Engagement & Support
- Support RFI/RFP development, including requirements, evaluation criteria, scoring frameworks
- Coordinate vendor demos, workshops, and detailed solution reviews with stakeholders.
- Assess data flows, data quality, and integration complexity across multiple systems.
- Business Case & Roadmap Development
- Build business cases quantifying benefits (cost reduction, productivity, OTIF, sustainability).
- Define phased rollout strategy, and high-level implementation roadmap.
Experience
- End-to-end logistics operations knowledge (inbound, outbound, warehousing, transport)
- Experience with logistics visibility platforms (control tower, TMS, connectivity, IoT)
- Understanding of compliance, safety, and documentation in regulated logistics
- Deep understanding of different digital logistics solutions and capabilities
- 7-12 years in logistics, digital transformation, or tech evaluation
