Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Partner / Managing Director at AWE Funds. The individual will co-lead fund raising, investment strategies, oversee portfolio management, and identify impactful investment opportunities aligned with the fund's gender lens vision. Responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders, developing key partnerships, and guiding innovative enterprises to achieve measurable financial and societal impact. The Partner / Managing Director will also play a leadership role in inviting mission aligned Limited Partners (LPs), building a high-performing team and driving organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading investment teams and setting strategic directions
• In-depth knowledge and domain expertise in business in our sectors of choce.
• ideally full cycle experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, or impact investing
• Excellent ability in financial modeling, analysis, and portfolio management
• Networking and partnership development abilities to foster collaboration with stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and investors
• Proficiency in business strategy, operational planning, and mentoring startups

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in gender lens investing or initiatives promoting diversity, as well as an advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
