We are looking for a passionate and responsible part-time teacher to take sessions in Public Speaking, Debate and Theatre, in a chain of schools in Rajasthan. The teacher will be responsible for taking 4-5 hours of sessions in public speaking, theatre and debate with students in a school in Ajmer, two days a week, and sessions with students in a school in Jaipur, two days a week (Overall, 4 days of school time commitment).

The teacher will be trained before they start taking classes and will receive ongoing support throughout their engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate or postgraduate students or graduated individuals based in Jaipur or Ajmer, who are able to travel between Ajmer and Jaipur for two days a week and can commit to regular class schedules for 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Take weekly student sessions in Debate, Public Speaking, and Theatre: You will lead structured and interactive sessions with students from Grades 4 to 12, using Aawaaz's curriculum to deliver engaging and high-impact classes. Sessions are conducted in person at schools across Jaipur and Ajmer.
• Ensure impactful delivery of assigned curriculum and modify the same based on the requirements of students: You will be responsible for implementing the curriculum effectively in each session, adapting it to suit the learning pace and style of the students, while maintaining clear learning objectives and outcomes. You will have to provide reports on the impact of the curriculum on students and how they interact with it. Based on this, along with support from Aawaaz, you will modify the curricula to create lesson plans more suited for the students you are teaching.
• Classes will be scheduled anytime between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, based on the school's preferences.
• The teacher will be required to travel between Ajmer and Jaipur.
  

• Must have a bachelor's degree
• Must have strong proficiency in English and communication.
• Must have experience in theatre, public speaking and debating.
• Must be able to travel between Jaipur and Ajmer frequently.
• Experience in or passion for education, public speaking or performance.
• Comfort in working with students from Grades 4-12.
• Comfort in working with students with beginner proficiency in English.
• Must be available during school hours (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM) on 4 days a week(schedule up for discussion with the school).
• Commitment to punctuality and consistently showing up for assigned classes and meetings.
  

• Hourly payment for class facilitation and curriculum modification.
• Travel expenses to and from school assignments will be fully reimbursed.
