Primary Job Title: Part-Time AI/ML Industry Mentor
Location & Work Type: Remote (India) Part-time, flexible hours; sessions and mentoring delivered in Telugu.
About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Industry Mentor to coach and upskill learners in Telugu. This role combines technical coaching, project review, and interview preparation for learners building production-ready ML solutions. Ideal mentors have practical industry experience, strong pedagogy instincts, and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver live mentoring sessions and technical office hours in Telugu covering core ML topics, frameworks, and best practices.
- Review learners code, notebooks, and capstone projects; provide actionable feedback to improve model quality, reproducibility, and engineering hygiene.
- Design and run technical assessments, mock interviews, and project checkpoints to prepare candidates for industry interviews and hiring processes.
- Guide learners through model selection, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and deployment trade-offs for real-world use cases.
- Collaborate with curriculum and product teams to refine course content, create practical assignments, and ensure alignment with hiring market needs.
- Track learner progress, maintain mentorship logs, and escalate blockers to cohort managers to maximise graduation and placement outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience using Python for ML workflows
- Hands-on with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Practical knowledge of Scikit-learn and model evaluation techniques
- Experience with model deployment and production considerations
- Prior mentoring, teaching, or technical coaching experience
- Instructional fluency in Telugu (verbal & written)
Preferred
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and Docker-based workflows
- Experience with NLP or Computer Vision project delivery
- Background in conducting technical interviews and resume/project reviews for ML roles
