About the RoleUtkarsh Global Foundation is looking for passionate and skilled Paravets to support veterinary teams in small-animal care.
The ideal candidate should have experience in animal handling, vaccinations, wound care, and medicine administration.
The Paravet will play an important role in ensuring quality treatment and animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinary doctors in routine checkups, treatments, and minor procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccinations to animals as per protocols.
- Perform IV (intravenous), IM (intramuscular), and SC (subcutaneous) injections/administration of medicines.
- Provide wound care and basic nursing support to small animals.
- Help in restraining and handling animals safely during procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic and treatment areas.
Eligibility Criteria- Diploma in Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Pharmacy, or Veterinary Science.
- Fresher or minimum 1 year experience as a Paravet.
- Experience in small animal clinics is an added advantage.
- Must be capable of injecting medicines and vaccines.
- Must be able to perform IV, IM, and SC procedures.
- Must be able to provide basic nursing and wound care.
