Position: Palo Alto Engineer
Experience Level: 5+ Years
Role Overview
Looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in
Palo Alto Firewalls along with solid
routing and switching skills to support and enhance the network security infrastructure to the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama.
- Implement and maintain security policies, NAT, VPNs (IPSec/GlobalProtect), and threat prevention features.
- Handle day-to-day operations, incident management, and performance optimization.
- Work extensively on routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.).
- Perform firewall upgrades, migrations, and rule-base enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve network/security issues and support project initiatives.
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols. Should work on at least 2 implements in Palo Alto Firewalls
- Proficient in packet analysis and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of network security best practices.
- Certifications like PCNSA/PCNSE is an advantage.
