Role Description

The Paint and Prep Artist is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. This role involves preparing and executing detailed painting and artistic assignments, collaborating on creative designs, and supporting animation projects. The Paint and Prep Artist will ensure high-quality deliverables by effectively communicating with the team, maintaining precision, and bringing artistic concepts to life through their skills and expertise.

Qualifications

* Strong experience in paint and rotoscoping techniques, including object removal, wire removal, and clean plate creation.

* Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software such as Nuke and Silhouette.

* Good understanding of camera and object tracking (matchmove) and integration into final composites.

* High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

* Basic knowledge of compositing principles and visual storytelling techniques.

* Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams within a production pipeline.

* Prior experience in animation, VFX, or related fields will be considered an added advantage.
