Job Description

Fundraising Internship Program - Live For Cause Foundation

About the organisation

Live For Cause Foundation is inviting applications for a short-term remote fundraising internship to support an education and life-skills initiative in Outram Lines. This internship is designed for individuals who want practical exposure to outreach, donor communication, fundraising strategy, and social impact work.

About the initiative

The internship will support a youth-focused intervention in Outram Lines aimed at underserved adolescents and young adults, especially those who have discontinued education, have not completed Class 10 or 12, are not engaged in stable work, or face barriers to further education and independent growth. The broader intervention aims to support educational continuation, financial literacy, mental health awareness, sex education, and practical life-skills development.

About the internship

This is a 15-day remote, performance-based internship for students, fresh graduates, and young professionals who want hands-on experience in fundraising and outreach. Interns will work on real campaign goals and contribute directly to donor engagement and fundraising efforts.

Mode and duration

Mode: Remote

Duration: 15 days

Who can apply

This internship is suitable for candidates who:

  • have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • are comfortable with outreach, persuasion, and follow-up

  • are interested in education, youth development, community work, or social impact

  • can work in a target-based environment

  • are available for a 15-day intensive remote internship

Prior experience in fundraising, sales, outreach, volunteering, or student leadership is helpful but not required.

Key responsibilities

Interns will be expected to:

  • raise funds through personal outreach, digital campaigns, peer networks, and donor follow-ups

  • communicate the project clearly and persuasively to potential donors

  • use WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other channels for outreach

  • maintain a daily tracker of outreach efforts, follow-ups, and donations raised

  • attend the induction session and mandatory cohort check-ins during the internship

  • work closely with the assigned coordinator and meet campaign deadlines

  • represent the organisation professionally in all fundraising communication

What success in this role looks like

Successful interns will actively engage in outreach, maintain consistent follow-ups, submit progress updates, and contribute meaningfully to the campaign's fundraising goals within the 15-day period.

What interns will gain

This internship offers practical exposure to:

  • real fundraising campaigns

  • donor communication and follow-up

  • outreach strategy across multiple platforms

  • campaign discipline and target-based execution

  • Interns will also receive verified recognition based on performance.

Internship benefits

  • performance-based stipend

  • certificate based on verified fundraising performance

  • internship hours linked to performance slabs

  • special mention and goodies for top performers

  • Letter of Recommendation for top fundraisers, as applicable under the certification structure

Expectations from interns

Selected interns are expected to take the internship seriously, communicate responsibly, follow the campaign process, and maintain professionalism in all donor-facing interactions. Since this is a short-duration intensive program, consistency, follow-up, and initiative are important.

Who should apply

This internship is a good fit for people who want practical field-relevant experience rather than only theoretical exposure. It is especially suitable for those interested in fundraising, outreach, nonprofit work, communications, and community-centered initiatives.
