We are looking for a proactive and skilled
Packaging Solutions Manager with comprehensive experience across production, design, and client engagement in the corrugated and flexible packaging industry. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical design expertise, operational oversight, and business development initiatives, ensuring end-to-end delivery of innovative, high-quality packaging solutions while driving client growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations
Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure quality standards, timely deliveries, and compliance with safety regulations.
Optimize production schedules, resource allocation, and machine utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with procurement, quality, and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflows across the production process.
Implement process improvements, cost control measures, and waste reduction strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor KPIs and generate actionable reports to drive continuous improvement.
Client Solutions & Business Development
Identify and engage new clients within corrugated and flexible packaging markets, while nurturing existing customer relationships.
Understand client requirements and provide customized packaging solutions aligned with technical feasibility and business objectives.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including inquiries, quotations, pricing negotiations, order processing, and post-sales support.
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to inform strategic product positioning.
Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen brand presence.
Design & Innovation
Collaborate with clients to interpret design briefs and translate them into functional, manufacturable packaging solutions.
Create precise structural and artwork designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support prototyping and production readiness.
Drive product development initiatives including prototyping, testing, and performance validation.
Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturable solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation including BOMs, CAD files, specifications, and design change records.
Required Skills & Competencies
28 years of experience in corrugated and/or flexible packaging.
Expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for packaging structural and artwork design.
Strong understanding of production processes, material properties, and printing technologies.
Hands-on experience in production planning, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
Excellent client-facing, communication, and negotiation skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Goal-oriented with a track record of delivering high-quality results under deadlines.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Certifications in CAD, packaging design, or process improvement are advantageous.
