Packaging Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Packaging Engineer to support packaging operations, development, and quality activities. The role involves coordinating with production, quality, and vendors to ensure effi cient, cost-effective, and compliant packaging processes.
Key Responsibilities
● Support day-to-day packaging operations and activities
● Assist in packaging development and trials
● Monitor packaging quality and performance
● Coordinate with production, QA, and supply chain teams
● Ensure compliance with packaging and safety standards
● Handle packaging material planning and control
● Support cost optimization and waste reduction initiatives
● Maintain packaging documentation and records
● Liaise with vendors for materials and improvements
Required Skills
● Knowledge of packaging materials (fl exible, rigid, cartons, labels, bottles, etc.)
● Basic understanding of packaging processes
● Quality control and inspection
● MS Excel / Basic reporting
● Communication and coordination skills
● Problem-solving ability
Qualifi cations
Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Packaging / Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering Relevant experience in FMCG / Food / Pharma / Manufacturing preferred
Preferred Skills
● Exposure to packaging machinery
● Knowledge of ISO / GMP / Food Safety Standards
● Experience in vendor coordination
