At NOT Drones, every box we ship is not just packaging — it's the first flight experience.
From the moment someone sees the box to the second they power on the drone, everything should feel precise, intentional, and unmistakably NOT.
We're building a brand where hardware meets storytelling — and packaging sits right at the center of that. We're looking for a Packaging Artwork Designer who wants to own that responsibility end-to-end.
If you enjoy precision, systems, and bringing order to creative chaos, you'll love this role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own packaging artwork across all Drones products — from new launches to SKU updates
- Work across teams: product, R&D, marketing, and vendors to bring packaging to life
- Create and adapt artwork across: Boxes & inserts, Instruction manuals, Stickers & labels, everything that defines user unboxing experience
- Regulatory markings (DGCA, battery, compliance)
- Handle versioning across variants, batches, and upgrades
- Prepare print-ready files, dielines, and production outputs with zero ambiguity
- Coordinate with printers & vendors to ensure execution matches design intent
- Maintain organised artwork systems
- Ensure consistency across all touch points — while adapting for different product lines: Sweat the details, Visual hierarchy, Typography, Alignment, Icon systems, Technical diagrams, Information hierarchy
WHAT THIS ROLE DEMANDS:
- Strong command of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Understanding of packaging structures, dielines, and print production
- Extreme attention to detail (you will notice 0.2 mm misalignment)
- Comfort with repetition — some days are creative, some are purely executional
- Ability to handle complex, multi-asset workflows (not just one box design)
- Ability to take rough/vendor files and elevate them to brand level
- Strong file management discipline — naming, versioning, organization
- Ability to manage multiple SKUs and deadlines without losing sanity
BONUS POINTS
- Experience in premiumelectronics / hardware packaging
- Understanding of user experience through packaging (unboxing matters)
- Experience with 3D renders or mockups
- Worked in fast-paced startup environments
Experience:
- 2–4 years in packaging / print design
- Experience working with vendors, printers, or production teams
- FMCG experience is okay — but ability to adapt to tech products is key
