Your Role: Business Partner & Industrial Relations Specialist
As a key member of our People & Organization (P&O) team, you'll serve as a strategic business partner, leading P&O operations for four SI EA factories and one SE factory in Goa. You'll drive effective industrial relations and support P&O activities across our rapidly growing location, home to around 1,100 employees and third-party contractors. Beyond Goa, you may occasionally support broader initiatives.
You'll collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders including factory managers, location heads, employees, union representatives, government bodies, industry associations, and more. Structurally, you report to the SI EA P&O BP and work closely with the SL IR Head.
What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and maintain harmonious employee and industrial relations.
- Represent Siemens in conciliation, labor, and legal matters and participate in long-term settlement discussions.
- Provide strategic advice to managers on P&O policies, disciplinary actions, and workforce management.
- Liaise with government authorities and support new project implementations.
- Drive P&O projects, employee engagement programs, and cultural initiatives.
- Manage contractor and third-party labor compliance.
- Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, learning interventions, and people development.
- Support key P&O processes: performance management, workforce planning, rewards and incentives, surveys, and global/local P&O strategies.
- Handle grievances, resolve issues promptly, and foster a positive workplace environment.
- Prepare and maintain reports in support of decision-making.
You'll Bring
- At least 8 years experience in P&O and Industrial Relations.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and industry standards.
- Proven expertise in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
- An adaptable, innovative mindset open to new technologies and best practices.
- Integrity, credibility, and the ability to build trust with multiple partners.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial set-up is desirable; knowledge of Siemens culture is a plus.
