We are seeking an experienced Overhead Line Designer to join our team . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and engineering of overhead electrical lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design overhead line structures and systems to meet project specifications and standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional and safety requirements.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and documentation for overhead line projects.
- Review and approve design modifications based on client feedback and site conditions.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards for electrical overhead line design.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in overhead line design and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations in India.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, or similar tools.
- Experience with structural analysis and design of overhead line structures.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
