OutSystems Architect
Role Overview:
Provide technical leadership and architectural vision for the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant OutSystems ODC solutions in the banking domain. Collaborate with business, development, and operations teams to ensure alignment with banking industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the overall OutSystems ODC architecture for banking applications including solution design, integration, and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate banking requirements into robust technical architectures.
- Design scalable and reusable OutSystems modules aligned with banking workflows and processes (accounts, transactions, compliance).
- Provide guidance on OutSystems best practices, coding standards, performance optimization, and security.
- Lead technical review sessions, code reviews, and architectural validation for OutSystems implementations.
- Develop strategies for integration with banking core systems, third-party APIs, and middleware using APIs and services.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and data security policies in architectural design.
- Support DevOps and automation by defining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure requirements specific to OutSystems environments.
- Mentor and guide OutSystems development teams to ensure architectural consistency and high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with OutSystems platform advancements and emerging banking technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years specializing in OutSystems11 and ODC architecture and solution design.
- Strong experience in banking domain projects, understanding banking products, processes, and regulatory environment.
- Proven expertise in designing scalable, secure OutSystems applications and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with API-led integrations, middleware, and service-oriented architecture in banking systems.
- Deep knowledge of OutSystems platform components including reactive web, mobile, data models, and integrations.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and compliance standards in BFSI.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation related to OutSystems deployments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex architecture to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OutSystems Certified Architect or equivalent certifications.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) especially in banking contexts.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices specific to BFSI applications.
- Experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments
