Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all activities within the retail outlet, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to optimise sales, productivity, and profitability.
  • Monitor and maintain proper stock levels, ensuring the availability of products and minimising stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Set sales targets and objectives for the outlet, working in alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth.
  • Motivate and train sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans if needed.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Monitor and manage the outlet's financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, such as sales reports, inventory reports, and profit and loss statements.
  • Control costs, minimise waste, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Implement pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions to optimise sales and profit margins.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient replenishment of stock.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and implement inventory control measures to minimise losses and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  • Leverage social media and other marketing channels to drive footfall and increase brand awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
  • Implement safety protocols and provide training on safety procedures to staff members.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management regarding sales performance, operational issues, and other relevant matters.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with the head office, other outlet managers, and cross-functional teams.
