Position: Outbound Service Manager-Mutual Funds

Location: Chandigarh

Experience required: 1-3 years

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Outbound Service Manager to manage end-to-end documentation and transaction support for mutual fund clients. The role involves field visits, client coordination, and ensuring seamless execution of financial transactions in compliance with regulatory norms.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include managing all the operations, admin and client support work.

Prepare and process documentation related to investments, handle account opening, Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, fund transfers, and other client documentation related to mutual fund investments.

Process transactions related to mutual funds, including purchases, redemptions, and switches.

Verify and reconcile mutual fund investments and statements.

Monitor and update Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWPs), and other structured investment transactions.

Lead and oversee outbound calling activities for client servicing, follow-ups, renewals, and cross-selling.

Visit clients across the Tri-City region for documentation, form collection, and transaction processing.

Ensure timely communication regarding portfolio updates, market insights, and documentation.

Maintain strong relationships with HNI & UHNI clients.

Improve client retention and satisfaction metrics.

Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities during service calls.

  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Sales Teams.
  • Support renewal collections and SIP follow-ups.
  • Contribute to revenue targets through proactive servicing.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Track KPIs: Call productivity, conversion ratio, retention %, service TAT.
  • Analyze trends and recommend improvements.
  • Present performance insights to senior management.

Maintaining and analyzing financial/non-financial data of our company client.

Act as a liaison between relationship managers, financial advisors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement improvements in operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in back-office operations, with a focus on mutual funds.
  • Hands-on experience with mutual fund platforms (e.g., CAMS, Karvy/KFintech, MF Utilities) is highly desirable.
  • Must have basic knowledge in Mutual Funds & other financial products

Skills

Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment processes, and regulatory frameworks.

Strong understanding of mutual fund products, operational processes.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and financial software.

Effective communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
