Muve Healthcare is a CQC regulated care provider delivering high-quality support to adults and young people with a wide range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health, personal care and complex care.
Our Out of Hours Team plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care outside normal office hours. The team provides operational support to care staff, responds to emergencies and ensures our services continue to operate safely and in line with company policies, legislation and CQC requirements.
Purpose of the Role
The Out of Hours Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the safe delivery of services outside normal office hours.
You will provide guidance and support to frontline care staff, respond to incidents and emergencies, monitor care systems and ensure that policies, procedures and safeguarding responsibilities are followed at all times.
This is a lone working position requiring excellent judgement, resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Although you will often work independently, management support is available whenever required.

We are looking for people who are:
Lone Working
This role involves working independently for significant periods. You must be comfortable making decisions within your level of responsibility while recognising when matters require escalation.
Support from managers is always available when required, however you will often be the first point of contact for operational issues outside normal office hours.
Waking Night Requirement
This is a waking night position along with twilights and weekends as well as UK Bank Holidays. You are expected to remain awake, alert and available throughout your entire shift to respond immediately to operational issues, emergencies and requests for support.
Sleeping while on duty is considered gross misconduct.
