Description
We are looking for a skilled OT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-2 years of experience in assisting surgical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the operating theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and properly organized.
- Provide support to the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist with anesthesia as required under the supervision of qualified personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of junior staff and interns.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Operation Theatre Technology or related field.
- 6-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in an operating theatre environment.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols and infection control measures.
