OT System Security Engineer

This Role's responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Lead and manage the OT security function across all sites.

Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for OT

environments.

Design and continuously improve vulnerability management processes and workflows.

Spearhead initiatives to enhance patching and configuration management practices.

Collaborate with Business Units to assess, prioritize, and remediate identified

vulnerabilities.

Work daily with shop floor process control supervisors to ensure that assets being

onboarded comply with security standards.

Validate that all new OT assets meet the required security benchmarks before

deployment.

Oversee security for HVAC, access control systems (ACS), lighting, water treatment,

energy management, physical access controls, and other critical infrastructure.

Contribute to overarching security programs by developing and executing

comprehensive initiatives in security awareness, systems hardening, and risk

management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and the protection of

critical assets.

Collaborate with IT teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure

changes, and assess their impact on both IT and OT systems within manufacturing

facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

4+ year of IT Experience 1+ in-depth experience of securing Industrial Control

Systems(ICS) like PLC, SCADA, DCS, Serialization solutions supporting discrete

manufacturing plant shop floor operations

Working knowledge on one of the standards: IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82,

NISTIR 8259 Series, and SP 800-213 Series

Deep and wide knowledge of discrete manufacturing ICS/IIoT/OT, MES/PLM,

SCADA/DCS, HMI, and PAC/PLC

Moderate level understanding of IT-OT convergence, Purdue Model, IDMZ concepts,

manufacturing facility

Ideally a solid foundation in ICS support which are built up with IT topics like network

architectures, network protocols, industrial protocols, Active Directory, Backup

processes, virtualization of applications and other general IT knowledge

Good to have

Professional ICS / OT security certification.

Hands on experience in Firewalls, Zscaler, remote access solutions.

Knowledge on one of the asset discovery and vulnerability management tools such as

Opswat, Claroty, Armis, Checkpoint

Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree and related certification
