Job Description

Assessment : They assess patients physical and psychological needs, functional abilities, and limitations to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals and interventions.
Patient Care : OT nurses provide hands-on care to patients, assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility exercises.
Mobility and Exercise : They work with patients to help them regain mobility and strength through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to their individual needs.
Adaptive Techniques : OT nurses teach patients adaptive techniques and strategies to enhance their independence and help them perform tasks more effectively.
Medication Management : They administer medications, monitor patients responses to treatments, and ensure proper pain management as part of the rehabilitation process. Education : OT nurses educate patients and their families about the importance of following the rehabilitation plan, provide information on proper body mechanics and techniques, and offer guidance on preventing further injuries
