We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT Staff Nurse (Locum Duty) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care in the operating theater, ensuring patient safety and support during surgical procedures. This position is suitable for individuals with 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theater environment.
- Ensure sterile techniques are followed to prevent infection.
- Monitor patients vital signs and support anesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance skills.
Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license in India.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in operating room settings is preferred but not mandatory.
