We are seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize our database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database integrity, security, and performance while supporting business operations and development teams.
Server Management for EOM, BCOM
- Components - restarts, health checks
- BCOM (OSM and SOA)
- EOM (Internal, PRM - including BBP/GetAccess and OneView)
- SSO principles and troubleshooting
- Active Directory
- Analytics
- DR best practices
- Log levels
- Monitoring and alerts - setup, maintenance
- Involves working with APM team as required
- Memory management / disk space increase
- Load Balancing - NRD through NDD and implementation
- Firewall requests and support
Issue investigation
- Performance issue troubleshooting and resolution
- Application performance - able to provide/ articulate guidance to network teams, for example, packet loss detection
OS install/upgrades - Windows and RHEL
- Software management at app server level
EOM Infra
- Non rep branch creation
- Rep branch creation
Data Securitization
- Vulnerability remediation - Apache, IIS and log4j
Regular patching program management for Windows and RHEL
SoX Compliance
Support / provide evidence as requested for server management, access controls, PAM, FIDs, etc
Maintenance of
Procedures
Server inventories (including CPU, OS, Cores, etc)
Architecture diagrams (Infrastructure specific)
- Above applies to Production and Non-Production
In case of production issues and maintenance/release requirements, non-standard business hours required (time in lieu)
- Development/delivery agility via DevSecOps pipeline
UCD, GitLab
- Physical storage requirement management Able to articulate Rack specifications, blade and SAN unit move, changes - and support. Facility managers making such changes.
- Extensive experience managing infrastructure of large CRM and order management applications for Telco (5 years +)
- Proven experience in Apache, Tomcat, IIS architecture
- Proven experience managing RHEL and Windows OS servers -
- ESX/Hyper-v cluster setup.
- In depth knowledge of application server requirements pertaining to software and versioning
- In depth experience with Application performance monitoring and issue analysis
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Experience working with Active Directory and Single Sign On architecture
- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence
- CI/CD tools: Git, GitLab
- Databases working knowledge: Oracle, Linux
- Working experience with Monitoring tools and their installation and maintenance: DynaTrace - OneAgent install procedures/specifications, ELK
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of DevOps principles
- Functional knowledge of Cloud-based architectures as well as 3rd party hosted virtual environments
