Osm Developer

Black And White Business Solutions is actively seeking a skilled OSM Developer to join our team. This pivotal role requires strong expertise in Oracle Service Orchestration Manager (OSM), with hands-on experience in WebLogic, XQuery, Web Services, and Java/J2EE. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in implementing and customizing OSM solutions, driving automation, and contributing to seamless order management and provisioning within the telecom domain.

Must-Have Skills

• OSM: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Service Orchestration Manager, including its core functionalities and architecture.
• WebLogic: Proficiency in working with Oracle WebLogic Server, encompassing deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• XQuery: Expertise in developing and utilizing XQuery for data transformation and manipulation within OSM contexts, including plugin development.
• Web Services: Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) for integrating OSM with other systems.
• Java/J2EE: Solid development experience in Java/J2EE, particularly in the context of extending and customizing OSM functionalities.

Good to Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with OSM concepts:
• Service Order Management (SOM) and Technical Order Management (TOM): Understanding and practical experience in managing the lifecycle of customer service orders and their corresponding technical fulfillment processes within OSM.
• Orchestration: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing complex service orchestration flows within OSM to automate service delivery.
• In-flight Order Change Management, Revisions: Experience handling modifications and updates to orders that are already in progress, including managing revisions and cancellations within OSM.
• XQuery plugin development: Demonstrated ability to develop custom plugins using XQuery for extending OSM functionalities and integrating with external systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Should have Implemented/customized OSM solutions, bringing significant OSM Implementation experience.
• Possess hands-on experience in OSM Automation using technologies such as XSLT, XQuery, Java, and DB Plugin development.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in areas of Java/J2EE, utilizing OSM based XML APIs and Web Services, and working with WebLogic server environments.
• Possess sound knowledge of Telecom Order Management and Provisioning applications and requirements, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices.
• Exhibit familiarity with Enterprise Telecom business services, contributing to the development of tailored solutions for our clients.
