Job Description
We are seeking an Order Handling Specialist to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in coordinating supply and supplier orders from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include working closely with various teams, such as sales, engineering, and finance, to ensure a smooth and efficient order management process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a diverse and talented team, building a new supply chain for our enterprise campus edge and private wireless business.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Coordinate customer orders, from receipt to managing material flow from suppliers.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams for offer approval and management.
- Handle sales order management and delivery coordination for hardware, software, and services.
- Manage customer returns and ensure efficient inventory and availability management.
- Create purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and coordinate inbound material flow.
- Develop processes for sales order management, purchasing, and warehousing.
- Work on the SAP Business by Design ERP System and ECE offer and order tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers, and manage key internal stakeholders.
- Report on operational performance and execute trade and document management for exports and imports.
Key Skills And Experience
Must have:
- Master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-moving, digital-first environment.
- Operational delivery skills, including offer approval, sales order management, and delivery coordination.
- Collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of successful customer and supplier partnerships.
Good to have:
- Experience in process development, especially for sales order management and purchasing.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP Business by Design, is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI is preferred.
