Oracle WebLogic Application Server Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Oracle WebLogic Administrator with 3 to 6 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support Oracle WebLogic Application Server environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of WebLogic servers and related applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments (standalone, clustered, multi-domain).
• Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize WebLogic server resources.
• Deploy and manage applications on WebLogic Application Server.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and backups of WebLogic infrastructure.
• Configure security settings, including SSL, authentication providers, and role mappings.
• Manage JMS resources, data sources, and connection pools.
• Automate routine tasks and deployments using scripting tools (Shell, WLST, Python).
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth application releases.
• Prepare documentation and provide technical support for production incidents.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards related to application server management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (12c, 14c, or later) administration.
• Strong knowledge of WebLogic domains, clusters, and server lifecycle management.
• Experience with application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in WebLogic environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool), Shell scripting, or Python.
• Understanding of JVM tuning, garbage collection, and performance monitoring.
• Experience configuring JMS, JDBC Data Sources, and security in WebLogic.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
