Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle SOA Administrator with expertise in SOA Suite upgrades and migrations to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will lead or assist in upgrading and migrating Oracle SOA environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Accommodation, travel, and visa support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage upgrades and migrations of Oracle SOA Suite (11g to 12c/12c to later versions) in complex environments.
- Administer, configure, and optimize Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, and BPEL processes post-migration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements, design migration strategies, and mitigate risks.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for SOA/OSB integrations.
- Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of SOA infrastructure during and after migration.
- Document migration steps, rollback plans, and best practices.
- Provide knowledge transfer and post-migration support to internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years (10+ preferred) of hands-on experience in Oracle SOA/OSB administration, including upgrades and migrations.
- Proven experience in migrating Oracle SOA 11g to 12c or later versions.
- Strong knowledge of SOA Suite, OSB, BPEL, Mediator, Web Services, and WebLogic Server.
- Familiarity with Oracle ADF, Oracle Forms & Reports, and OTD (advantageous).
- Expertise in troubleshooting deployment, performance, and integration issues.
- Ability to work onsite in Saudi Arabia for the contract duration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite 12c Certified Implementation Specialist).
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or hybrid integrations.
- Scripting skills (WLST, Shell, Python) for automation.
